Johnson Controls offers a 1/2" Flare Valve, Model V-3966-1002, 1/2" spd-xlg, 9-13# pressure. This flare valve is normally closed and controls the flow of gas and has a 3/16" male NPT fitting and operates at 80 to 1000 psi.

The 1/2'' Flare Valve has a stainless steel body finished with a standard red label, and is designed for use on 3.2 gpm to 5.4 gpm residential supply lines to the fixture. It meets California requirements as a Sanitary Device as indicated by the 3A stamp, and its maximum working pressure is 90 psi.

For use with 1/2"" copper or PEX tubing. The two-way valves allow you to turn the water off at your source and leave your lines open. Simply push down on the handle to open these valves, or push up on the handle to close. Flushable PTFE filter helps prevent clogging.

This flare valve has a design pressure of 45 psi and a test pressure of 75 psi. It has a maximum flow rate of 100 SCFH at 20 psi and an AB intake line size of 3/8". For use with fuel gases or oils that are not combustable.
