V47AC-39 Johnson Controls is a 3/4"160/230F temp. Act. Reg. Valve

The JCI V47AC-39 3/4""160/230F Temperature Actuated Regulating Valve will regulate the flow of steam or water or any combination based on a thermostatic signal from an external heat source and temperature in the piping. The V47AC-39 is designed to fit application where a furnace, steam generator, boiler or producer requires control to start-up or stop operation based on its internal temperature. This model is designed for applications requiring direct connection through conduit with a minimum of 210°F.

The V47AC39 is a #3 size, 160/230F (38°C/57°C) Steam Regulating Valve with level actuating element. It has a full flow zero loss body design, and works on both saturated steam and superheated steam. It is designed to deliver consistent and even steam flow to application.

This Johnson Control Temp Act Reg VLV - V47AC-39 is the same great product as the original, with a new name. Due to recent changes in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning manufacturer's certification process, this product is now being branded as an Omnivent product. The Heil-Conn name will continue to be used on these products and service.

The V47AC-39 Series Adjustable Temperature Actuator Valves, designed for directing steam to the processes in various industries, provide a valve that is compact, low-cost and easy to maintain. The body of the valve is rotated 90 degrees and locked with a stainless steel pin. This allows for easy access to the seat, blade and stem of the valve. The rotating plug handle is designed with three packing positions that act as 3 different quarter turns of opening stem flow between 160/230 F. Industrial quality temperature and pressure relief valve provides protection for air or gas turbine engines and industrial process operations. The adjustable spool provides quick, accurate opening pressure adjustment. Sealing is assured by a high pressurespring holding the disc seat against the plug seat orifice. Keyed pipe connections are used to avoid leakage even under high pressure conditions.
