This variable speed split case system features a blower with a variable controlled cross-ambient and is ideal for hydronic heating applications such as radiant flooring, fan coil units, and high efficiency heating equipment.

The V47AR controls are for use over the range up to 5/8"" for water temperatures of 75°F (121°C) and 135°F (57°C). The controls have a 1 1/2"" diameter stainless steel case with silicone nitride seal. The V47AR-1 is a large, 2" cross ambient type, air-cooled, refrigeration compressor that is capable of cooling to -22F. This compressor has a 50 hp motor, vapor-compression discharge system, and an operating efficiency of 0.93 with an auto-restart feature. The HC Series compressors have been designed with Johnson Controls' Maximum Performance Technology (MPT), which maximizes the capability of each compressor model.

The V47AR-1 is a fully automatic cross-ambient actuator in a vandal resistant design. It provides advanced airflow control and load sensing capability similar to a lead/lag damper for small air volume applications up to 10,000 cfm (420 m³/hour) using Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) standard 103 inlet conditions.
