The K510320 is a decorative wooden door plug for wood, hollow metal, and sheetrock doors. Featuring enhanced screw threads to ensure the plug installs easily into hollow metal doors without a collapse washer as well as the removal of door sweep requirements. Includes 3/4"-10  threaded shank with square drive to match common screw hole sizes on wood doors and one 2" long x 1" wide wood screw.

This lock is an actual plug of wood, split down the middle, with an integrated locking mechanism. It was designed for a project about "the materiality of access" in the MoMA exhibition Common Ground. The manufacturer calls this the "plug door security deadbolt".

SCHLAGE offers a wide variety of finishes available for this door plug product.  Many of these finishes have been tested to meet or exceed industry standards, such as ANSI/BHMA A156.4 and ANSI A108.11.
