K510-330 612 EMERGENCY BUTTON FOR L9040 / L9440, EMERGENCY BUTTON, DETECTS FIRE, MONITORS LIFE SAFETY –When a smoke detector sounds an alarm, the radio pager-type button sends an alert signal to the base unit at the control station. The control station automatically alerts the building occupants and dispatches emergency personnel as required.

This is the replacement emergency button for use with L9040 / L9440 Series Deadbolts, but can be used with any product utilizing a standard flat keyway. The K510-330 612 Emergency Button is easy to install and requires no special tools since it attaches with a 3/16" long set screw.

The Schlage K510-330 612 Emergency Button for L9440/L9040 Lever handles is an emergency lever handle designed to fit single cylinder Schlage K Residential deadbolt locks. It requires that a bore hole be drilled into the door through the front casing. A bolt must be removed and replaced with the button, requiring that two holes be drilled on each side of the door in addition to the one in the front casing.

The K510330612 is a replacement Emergency Button for the L9040 and L9440 Lever handle. The button can remain on the wall, but it is recommended that once the door is released or opened by an individual at the point of entry that the button cover be replaced to prevent tampering.
