The Klein Tools RT210 GFCI receptacle tester plugs into any standard outlet to test for proper gfi protection. It tests for polarity and shorts, checks wiring problems and continuity in hot, neutral and ground wires, illuminates grounded outlets, quickly reveals wiring errors, and identifies which position of duplex outlets is fed first. It also tests for overheating and opens GFCI-protected receptacles too.

The Klein Tools Receptacle Tester is designed to test GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupters) receptacles. It can also test standard North American 120 volt AC electrical outlets. The tool has a large 1 7/8" diameter yellow handle with a positive lock-on button and a numbered dial indicating pass/fail conditions. A rugged green rubber bumper protects the tool and surface under test. A built-in, alligator clip cord is enclosed for convenient testing.
