It's "drive-by" connector allows sensors to be installed without the need to tap into existing harnesses. By monitoring the power supply voltage, the sensor can detect ambient temperature changes and send an electronic signal that can drive an alarm, sound an audible alarm, or trigger various control functions.

This room temperature sensor is designed to connect into control boards with screw terminals. It can be used on the control board frame and connect directly to a heating or cooling coil, or it can be mounted with screws through its terminal areas. In the latter case, wires need to be soldered onto the many 4 mm screw terminal positions.

The Model STE-6011-10 is a room temperature sensor for use with any KMC Programmable Controller. Sensor is designed to monitor room temperature, while allowing the boiler or superheater temperature to be controlled .
