The ED0092651600-S Reg Part (ED0092651600S TIEROD) from Kohler is a genuine replacement part and built to the same factory specifications as the original. This means that you can expect it to perform in the same way, delivering the same level of performance that you originally purchased your Kohler product for. It is made of high quality materials, including brass that has been chrome plated for a long lasting finish. It comes with a 10 year limited warranty so you know that it will last for years to come.
Tierods are integral to the structure of a vehicle. They provide stability by linking the steering mechanism on one end and the front axle on the other end. The tie rod that is often used in place of tierod is created through a manufacturing process where the final product is made with a hot forging method or cold forging method. Compared to tierod, hot forged tie rods have been known to have difficulty adjusting their length when they wear out. Cold forged tie rods, on the other hand, cannot be adjusted and if you fail to notice this, you might accidentally order one for your steering system instead of tierods.
