The KC-300D-C / 100TX-100FX Converter Multi-Mode SC from KTI Networks provides a useful solution to extending a 10/100BaseT LAN over one or two singlemode fiber optic links. With plug and play capability, this converter does the heavy lifting in setting up a network link with a range of up to 40km (24.9 miles).

The KC-300D-C is designed to be part of the KTI Network's Digital Access System. This 100TX/100FX MultiMode SC fiber optic converter, which supports C, PRI, and ISDN protocol connections, works with the KTI Network's access system at speeds up to 1.5 Gbps and distances of up to 33 kilometers. The KC-300D-C features an automatic page retry mechanism that recovers digital traffic in case of line system failure. It also features a high speed synchronous optical interface (HSSI) for enhanced voice clarity and a maximum operating distance of 20

The KC-300D-C is composed of a 10/100 transceiver and a MultiMode repeater that converts the multimode fiber signals received from the 10/100 transceiver into standard single mode fiber optical signals. This system makes it ideal for cost effective extension of fiber segments over short distances in single mode format.

The KC-300D Multi-Mode SC is a cost-effective, multi-mode enabled convergent / divergent analog telephone tributary unit that converts traditional PRI up to 4 ports to SIP 100 TX and 100 FX.

The KC-300D-C is a 100FX to 100TX broadband converter with CTCSS/DCS, DCS only and no DCS option. The unit has a factory installed modem module, which supports PPPoE and Static IP connection types. For convenience, the unit also supports remote management using SNMP V1/V2c with community strings to provide the user with easy access to modify or reconfigure the device through out its network life cycle.

The KC-300 Converter converts an unused 100MHz to 100GHz channel to a single mode SC connector. All data ports are individually configurable as either SC Receptacles or SC Couplers. The KC-300 supports all existing Fast Ethernet based DAC systems available in the marketplace today, including KTI Networks' KC-1000 and KC-2500 DACs and any third party DACs that require a multi-frequency output.
