The Kwikset 31.7 PK Top Pins are used with the top pin cylinder to replace the elongated key cylinder for old style or original higher security locks.

The 3117-PK and 3117-KT, Kwikset's equivalent of a standard pin tumbler lock, has been proven to be one of the most popular keysets sold by Kwikset. It is often used as an upgrade for homes with older style locks. The keyway is designed to accept a KW1 or KW2 key. This bottom pin design works with standard North American residential and light commercial deadbolts including DE400, DE475, DE500 and K300 Series, K400 Series and KW1 series deadbolts.
