The SYDNEY keyed lever features a bold look with an easy-to-operate thumbturn as well as Surface Mount Technology (SMT) for remodelers and new construction applications. When used with the KW1 keyway cylinder, this lever is limited to 1-3/8" (35 mm) backset.

The Kwikset 156D is a Sydney keyed lever in a satin nickel finish. It has the new smartkey re-keyable cylinder, that can be re-keyed in seconds using a common screwdriver. Featuring SmartKey SecurityTM, this deadbolt retrofit can easily convert existing door hardware to accept the latest self-rekeying SmartKey cylinders. Once the lock is re-key by the user, all extra keys are destroyed. This fits over an existing deadbolt and replaces the thumb turn or single cylinder deadbolt. Includes a Power Lock Strike

The Sydney Deadbolt by Kwikset®  is an ideal choice for your exterior door, featuring SmartKey® re-key technology that allows you to re-key the lock yourself using a downloadable template. Once you cut away the old keys, simply snap in the replacement keyblanks in your new cylinder. The deadbolt functions with a thumb turn and features a 1¼" throw. Our keyed lever deadbolt provides security for openings up to 2-1/8 in. wide. The unique sidebar makes the deadbolt reversible in either direction, and the new side drilled throw feature allows the door to open in or away from the room.
