This is a new 4" Kwikset key gauge. Use it to match your key to the correct Kwikset door knob for you. 049 is the model number of the 0.625 in cut keyway in your lock cylinder. If you have 15, 16 or 17 cut keys then this gauge will work for you. This will tell you either if your key is correct or not.
