The PISMO privacy knob retains the same general construction as the 930 series. The difference is that the privacy function is integrated into the key and is operated by pushing in on the key while turning, which locks the exterior cylinder knob and deadbolt but not the handle.

Our PISMO privacy knob installs easily, and enhances the look of your doorknob for added security and privacy.Combined with a standard doorknob, the PISMO knob offers push button access from the outside, while offering thumbturn access from within. It mounts to a standard doorknob in as little as five minutes and can be reversed at anytime.

PISMO knob with a contemporary square shape and soft, textured finish helps you to feel comfortable at the deadbolt. The circular key-turning hole is positioned so that it's not visible from the outside -- great for doors that are frequently used. Specially designed for ease of use, this privacy knob provides smooth fingertip operation in both directions.

This privacy knob is designed for PISMO single cylinder deadbolts #260, 270 and 734. Featuring a square back plate design, it also works with the Schlage FE Series and Kwikset's own Omni series deadbolts that have 8 pins.

Pismo privacy knob is designed to be installed on the outside of the door when controlling privacy is desired from outside. The knob is operated by a lever escutcheon plate that is mounted on the inside of the door. Driver torque-rated CC2.0, rated 1,000,000 operations with an unlatch requiring 87-in.-lbs. (10 Nm). Available in square corner or round corner configurations and four colors to complement your door design.
