In addition to being a weather resistant metal latch assembly for interior use, it also has a galvanized steel back cover to protect the lock against corrosion. The finish is a gray powder coat with a Satin nickel finish.

Easy Installation with hassle free setupThe KwikSet 740H is easy to install on your existing doors. It uses a standard 3-1/8" lock bore hole and the mounting plate is reversible for right or left hand installation. The lock has a drill free design, no screws are needed to install the lock body on the door jamb. This makes it very quick to install without messing up room with unnecessary holes.
