DEADLOCK PLUG RETAINER

The KWIKSET 84215 DEADLOCK PLUG RETAINER replaces the full-size deadbolt lock insert and hold it in place to help prevent access to the locking bolt. Comes with the tool required to remove and install the retainer. Can be used on single cylinder deadbolt locks, square corner locks, and doorknob locks. It only takes about five minutes to replace one of your existing locks.

The KWIKSET 84215 DEADLOCK PLUG RETAINER is intended to replace the plug retainer & spring assembly in KWIKSET Kwikset deadbolts and door locks with a "door strike" feature. Since both the plug retainer & spring assembly and the deadbolt cylindrical cam are identical in each deadbolt, both assemblies serve the same function. This KWIKSET 84215 DEADLOCK PLUG RETAINER is a replacement of the plug retainer & spring assembly only and not of the entire deadbolt.

Kwikset's 84215 deadlock plug retainer is for use with the following locksets: Push-button Lock B597, X625 and 65513; Push-button/Lever Lock B619, B619LM and 983; Deadlock Lock B641, 584 and 691 Series; Mortise Lock P1377LD1 and P579; Closet Lock B674 and L615 Series. KW-84215 is a replacement for Kwikset Part 84212.
