The HALIFAX SQF 514 Series is designed for single cylinder, keyed-entry residential door locksets with smartkey technology. The SQF 514 series features a smartkey re-key technology to convert the lock cylinder to a new key without replacing the exterior lock cover or the existing key. All 971HFLSQF 514 locksets are equipped with Kwikset's ArmorCore Technology plungers and anti-vandalism screws that are 1 and 1/8th inches in length, versus the standard 1 inch length, making them more difficult to remove with common burglary tools.

The 971's unique design adds or updates style to your KWIKSET Halifax entry handle for a fresh, updated look. It also offers: 1. One-piece, premium Zinc die struck for strength and durability 2. Longer lever creates a better feel when turning the lockset 3. Square rosette in a variety of lengths and finishes 4. The SmartKey conversion feature allows for re-key within seconds without removing the cylinder from the door This product works with either a Kwikset or Schlage 0 pin cylinder.
