The Schlage L283-199 is a set of four locks for securing sliding glass doors within residential settings. It features a Pin & Tumbler mechanism that allows for ease of installation on most doors. The lock has three spindles and comes with two springs.

This listing is for a pack of 2-3.5 in door hardware spring and spindle assemblies for the Schlage L Series deadbolts with internal springs.

Schlage spindles and springs for 2-3.5" doors

For use on doors between 2-3-½ in. thick, these spindles and springs are made of rustproof zinc plated steel and designed to interface with 1/2 in. deadbolt locks. Includes two spindles and four hook springs.

These spring loaded spindles/springs are designed for residential Schlage "2-3/4" and "3-1/8" deadbolt locks with either a standard cylinder or a night latch. They also can be used to repair older deadbolts where the springs have become weak or broken.

These Spindles and Springs are designed to work with all Schlage locks that were produced after June 1980. These parts are used on wood and steel doors with 2-3/8''-3-1/4'' stile width. They come individually packaged and require no installation.
