The Pressuretrol with non-adjustable throwaway cartridge is recommended for use on systems that discharge to atmosphere such as air compressors or refrigeration. The Pressuretrol provides proportional control of the air stream without adjustment and with manual reset from the operator. It also offers trouble warning signals, a trip relay function, and status indication.
The Pressuretrol Series pressure controllers sense and maintain constant line pressure based on the differential between supply pressure and flow rate. The controller compensates for different boost pressures by sensing flow rate to provide accurate proportional control over a wide range of setting pressures.

Our Honeywell 2257 Proportional Pressuretrol Controller, 5-150 psi is a replacement for the Honeywell 5794A-0500 (21827) Thermostatic Expansion Valve which is no longer available. This pressuretrol controller measures up to 150 psi and is designed to control the supply of air from a commericial or residential proportional valve or air compressor in heating and cooling applications.

The Honeywell 2257 Proportional Controller is a pneumatic pressure regulator that uses pressure control to maintain precise pressure inside a tank or cylinder. It has a non-adjustable 50 in. Hg set point and then allows the output pressure to vary from 0-150 lbs. A bright easy to read LED display enables you to view your settings at a quick glance, as well as have an audible alarm placed in the controller that will sound when your set point is reached and the pressure cannot increase any more.
