The product can be surface mounted and is designed with a standard latch for maximum security. It also has an ANSI grade 1 rating.

The Schlage L9453P17A625 17A door and drawer hardware set is designed for use on wood doors or drawers. The complete lock set includes an exterior Cylindrical double-cylinder deadbolt, a Cylindrical entry knob with AA latch, and a 2-3/4 inch backset deadbolt strike. It comes pre-assembled with non-removable doorknobs and ANSI Grade 1 doors.
