The 11U71 HIGH ALTITUDE PRESSURE SW .85 is a 3-pole double throw 40 amp spring loaded compressor switch with auxiliary switch (60 amp rating). The coil is tapped with an auto transformer, or can be manually wired to an auxiliary switch

The Lennox 11U71 pressure switch is designed for high altitude indoor air conditioning and refrigeration equipment applications. It features a COMPRESSOR SOUND BLANKET (CSBK) and is based on the 3PDT electrical design with sound blanket board.

The Lennox 11U71 High Altitude Pressure Switch Package is designed to work with air conditioning equipment and systems operating at an altitude above 1,000 feet above sea level. This package comes with a high altitude pressure switch, along with an auxiliary switch to be used as a high altitude compressor sound blanker. This switch also comes pre-wired with connectors for ease of installation.

The Lennox 11U71 high altitude pressure switch allows compressors to produce full capacity at high altitudes. This switch has 40A contacts, 3-position dial, and an auxiliary switch. Current flows when the pressure switch is in the ON position and the air conditioning compressor cycles through its cooling cycle as normal. The OFF position freezes the pilot burner off when the air conditioning compressor stops running, but engaged contacts prevent power from returning to the furnace. The AUTO position enables the furnace burners while holding the pilot on so that when you turn on a temperature control, heat is produced from both your heating system and your air
