Install the Lennox 12J18 "TXV VALVE for an upgrade to your forced air heating system. Suitable for homes with two-stage furnace and three-stage gas valve, this part can replace a TXV gallon valve from 5/8" refrigerant line and is compatible with multi-speed furnaces.

The TXV valve will eliminate the ducts and save you the effort of trying to find one when you need it. This is because it can operate at low outdoor temperature (below 43°F) with superheat capability, which means less energy used and money saved. The TXV (Thermostatic Expansion Valve) controls the amount of refrigerant entering the evaporator. This is critical in maintaining optimal efficiency. It allows the home owner to monitor and control the indoor air temperature more efficiently.

Lennox's 12J18 TXV-1102-UPV is a 2" cooling coil and packaged refrigerant valve assembly, consisting of a cast iron condenser coil, aluminum evaporator coil, steel evaporator head and cartridge style liquid line filter drier. It is constructed with a large diameter aluminum alloy capillary tube for superior fluid handling in high temperature applications.
