The 3HP MOTOR 575V Model 12Y18 is Lennox' most popular and longest running airconditioner model. It's an energy efficient, 12,000 BRT, 18 SEER, 122/183 amp compressor, condenser unit with two heat pumps spinning a total of 6 Indoor Fan Coil Rows.

The Lennox 12Y18 3HP MOTOR 575V is an air handler with a capacity of 15,000 Btu a minute. It has three speed settings and can heat and cool homes up to 2,200 square feet. It features a Heat anticipator control that regulates fan speed while the motor maintains constant air flow.

The Lennox 12Y-18 3HP MOTOR is a completely field-erectable air conditioner or heat pump system. A self contained unit containing all of the equipment needed for standard installation. Move and install with ease. Saves valuable time during installation as your only cartage is to move the control case, cord and plug terminal.

Lennox 3.0 to 5.5 Ton 3HP Motor

Installation of the 12Y18 motor requires proper alignment of the motor to the blower and drive assembly. A template is provided with each motor for proper alignment. If the blower would be located above or below the motor then the installers should make the appropriate adjustments to the adapter. All cylinders should be aligned vertically between frame members and the top surface on top of a horizontal plane must remain within ±1/8" (3mm).

Assembly is required. In vertical mode, blower assembly is suspended inside duct flue. In the horizontal operating mode, blower assembly is mounted on a steel base with 2" NPT casters.
