Lennox 17W56 Corporation 120V PRI Bias Compensated Transformer – 240V AC/120V AC:

The 17W56 120V PRI is a naturally-vented, forced-air gas furnace. The 17W56 comes standard with a modulating control and potential ignition protection.

Pri" for 120 volt primary applications, Pri-120V regulates current from the ac line to the balanced primary side. Pri-120V also protects the secondary circuit from faulted wires and wiring faults on the primary circuit by opening either of its two breakers.

The 17W56 is a special purpose transformer for fire alarm systems. It provides all the auxiliary voltages needed to develop conventional loop monitoring on a 120V system. This transformer, in conjunction with the other components of the system, meets UL standards."
