The 21L87 Lennox Central Air Conditioner / Heat Pump is commonly used in homes in the US, Canada and a few others. The unit is 208-230v, and comes with a 1 1/2 horse power standard motor. To properly operate this unit a TXV and GX8-5 compressor (if you are purchasing a kit) must be added to the order, otherwise it will not operate properly.

This is a brand new Lennox 21L87 TXV Kit This unit was originally advertised as an all electric unit but was modified to work on gas line for LP gas and/or natural gas. The ignitor is in working condition as well and everything is ready to go. I was originally told that this would cover both the electric and gas units but I have only been able to verify that it will run the gas part of it.

Installing the 21L87 "downstream" sectional valve is a cost-effective way to upgrade your heating system. This is a complete kit, consisting of 21L87 valves and TXV (triple-point-vented) 725000 high altitude thermostat.

The 4432 Lennox 21L87 series TXV (Thermostatic Expansion Valve) is used for zoning control of the indoor air conditioner unit. The TXV provides constant refrigerant flow when the compressor is cycling, and vents excess refrigerant during non-cycling periods.
