The Lennox 175F limit control will cycle the heat pump off when the temperature drops to 140°F to protect the air conditioner compressor and gas furnace burner. The 175F limit control is not adjustable.

With an adjustable temperature range and scale display, this limit switch provides reliable protection for your heating or cooling HVAC system. The limit switch offers multiple mounting styles, including a standard base, wire leads, and pigtail wires, for added installation flexibility. With a ½ inch male threaded reference stud tube and a ½ inch female coupling thread to mate with the equipment inlet port, this limit switch will fit any Lennox brand indoor furnaces equipped with HPRV/2-wire defrost electronics to ensure proper protection. It is compatible with all Lennox brand gas furnaces using Type X control boards.

The Lennox LG1822 Series White Electric Enclosed Baseboard Heat- Loop Limit Switch features spring return thermal overload protection for the residential or light commercial heating and cooling system. The limit switch is equipped with a plunger that automatically resets after power is removed from the system. This limit switch is a uni-directional, single pole, normally open (NO), normally closed (NC) circuit that has 3/8" terminals and eight knurled nuts on bottom of switch. It also has a plastic cover for easy access to components.

The AUTO cycle makes up to (6) adjustments per day for both heating and cooling. This feature is great for automatically adjusting to temperature swings in your home. If you live in a home where the temperature rises during the day and falls at night, you can count on an AUTO cycle to adjust the temperature in the home as needed.
