LP Orifice

The LP orifice on Lennox outdoor condensing units to allow for flow of liquid propane gas, which is typically delivered in high pressure piping.

The Lennox LP ORIFICE is the perfect replacement or upgrade to make sure your heating system is working at peak performance. This original equipment quality part features a copper orifice that ensures a steady flow of heat, enhancing the efficiency of your system.

The LP orifice on your furnace distributes propane to the burners.

Offering a modern appearance, the Lennox 54M90 Orifice assembly is constructed from aluminum and features a copper pipe. It is compatible with all Lennox air conditioning units with an LP gas valve orifice.

Had a plumber install one of these last week, and I am very happy with my new grill. LP orifices are used to take the normal gas pressure coming into your gas furnace, and at the same time allow a vent for air to escape at the same time. This is critical when installing a gas grill, as it allows for proper air flow while cooking on the grill, which in turn will cause lesser flare-ups on the burners themselves. The less you have to clean off your burners after cooking on them, the better off you'll be!
