The all new Lennox ZONE SENSOR technology provides advanced multi-zone control, optimizing heating and cooling in multiple areas of a home. The 56L80's zone sensor modules have the ability to provide independent program temperatures in multiple rooms, control each room separately, and is compatible with ComfortLink II system to sync with other Lennox products.

The ZoneSensor® brand is Lennox's exclusive line of smart heating and cooling equipment. The brain of the system, ZoneSensor monitors a building's actual comfort level and adjust the temperature accordingly. This enables your system to work more efficiently and your home or office to perform better.

Zone sensor control saves energy and reduces drafts by maintaining room temperature.

Zone Sensor technology detects heat loss and adjusts your air conditioner's thermostat to maintain ideal temperature in the rooms. It also adjusts the operation of your air conditioner based on humidity levels using dehumidification. Additionally, it automatically sets your unit to heating mode on cool mornings while keeping outdoor air contained allowing you to save energy by preventing exposure to cold outdoor air, so that you can save money on your utility bills.

Zone Sensors allow precise temperature control of individual rooms. Zone Sensors are LCD equipped remote sensors that turn ON/OFF and set desired temperature in 2° increments of room temperature for ultimate comfort. This configuration is ideal in large areas, such as family rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms.

The zone sensor technology provides automatic temperature management at the cooktop surface, so you can conserve energy and enjoy high efficiency cooking. This allows the cooktop to sense pan size and adjusts automatically to deliver the right output. This feature is available on the Lennox 56L80 Corporation Series, along with a powerful 9400 BTU burner that brings a delightful sear to a steak or gets pots and pans boiling fast.
