The LENNOX Corporation 63K10 Defrost Switch reduces downtime, costs, and replacement of refrigerators, freezers and other commercial refrigeration equipment by eliminating frost buildup on the evaporator coil of cooling units. This device is easy to install, eliminates wrinkles and moisture stains on fabrics such as carpets and drapes, can be used in combination with a defrost cycle switch for simultaneous operation, and includes a standard one-year warranty.

Our 63K10 defrost switch provides a more convenient way to control the defrost cycle. The remote mounted switch allows for easy access in colder areas of the world, such as the Arctic Circle, where subzero temperatures are common.

The Lennox Defrost Switch is great for providing power to a unit when the compressor is off and the blower or fan coil continues to run. It provides ten amps of current while the system has stopped, eliminating a separate service disconnect switch for the refrigerant lines. This two-pole switch reliably disables power to the refrigerator while not in use.

The LENNOX 63K10 Defrost Switch is a spring-loaded mechanical time delay switch. It is used in conjunction with the 62P10 Triple Time-Delay Control to control the defrost cycle on the 37000, 37010, 37011, and 38000 indoor-forced air heating system furnaces.

The Lennox 63K10 Defrost Switch is specially designed to fit certain Lennox brand gas furnaces manufactured from approximately 1996 up to and including 2007. This replacement switch is for gas furnaces with a 3-wire power cord and requires a 120-volt circuit. The Lennox 63K10 Defrost Switch can be used on other brands of furnaces with the required modifications, for a fee.

For use with Lennox 12" and 15" air cooled condensing units. This switch controls the circuit breaker when the defrost cycle is complete and allows the blower to restart.
