The Lennox EAC-1400 is a genuine carbon filter made by Lennox that fits the following Lennox/Alsons models:

The Lennox EAC-1400 Replacement Carbon Filter is protein resistant, and eliminates the harsh odor associated with refrigerant leaks. This 1/2" thick carbon filter can be cleaned for up to 5 years to provide maximum efficiency. Over time, the filter will darken and turn black as it works to filter out airborne contaminants suspended in your air.

This carbon filter set contains (2) main filter cartridges and a filter bypass damper. Face velocity is 800 FPM @ .08 PSIG. Each replacement cartridge effectively reduces the odor/smoke levels by 95%. The EAC-1400 filters out chemicals, excess odors, particulates, and microbiologicals that cause indoor air pollution. It features an 8x10" pleated main filter media.

The Lennox EAC-1400 Carbon Filter is the best choice for an air conditioning system that has a large indoor coil surface area. It is designed to reduce formaldehyde, nitrogen dioxide, and carbon dioxide emissions while creating the cleanest indoor air possible. The filter will last up to 3 months or 6000 operating hours before needing replacement. It is suggested that the filter is replaced after each heating season.

The Lennox EAC-1400 is a replacement carbon filter for use with the air temperature sensor of a 69H98 System. If replaced every 6 months, the carbon filter will help decrease indoor air temperature spikes caused by energy recovery ventilators

The Lennox EAC-1400 filter removes a wide range of airborne particles and pollutants from your home's air. For maximum protection, we recommend replacing the filter every 1-3 months or in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
