Like a muscle, the Lennox® Constant Torque Motor® contracts powerfully and recovers quickly. It's ideal for furnaces, air conditioners and more.

The Motorman 75W04 Constant Torque Motor is for centrifugal dryers that have a front end load or bottom discharge door. The motor includes built-in centrifugal switch on the run cap and a 3-speed drive with speed control located in the fan case. The motor does not have a thermal overload protector.

The 75W04 constant torque motor is a 120 volt, 208/240 volt and 277 volt class F insulating motor that features no start capacitor, capacitor run induction machines and has direct drive capability. It is indoor rated.

Lennox® Constant Torque Air Conditioning Systems' motor is a closed-loop, squirrel-cage induction motor that maintains constant torque and produces excellent start up power with low amp draw, low tangential speed, and optimum efficiency.

A constant torque motor is an electric motor that provides a relatively constant torque over a wide speed range. A traditional motor with typical power ratings will provide maximum torque at some point during its full-load speed range, often at approximately 50% of its rated power, and minimum torque near zero rpm.

A new generation of motors is beginning to replace the existing standard type motors and are available in a wide range of power ratings from 1/2 to 1 HP. The constant torque motor is designed to provide a 30% increase in horsepower for the same physical size, weight, and cost when compared to standard motors.
