The Lennox 235F Limit Control is the industry's first two-stage, four-wire, limiting control. It features two-stage control for precise temperature limit setting, and outstanding reliability and durability. Two contactor bypasses eliminate contactor failure caused by common wiring problems and electromechanical locks included with each thermostat ensures that the adjusted limit stays locked in during power outages.

The 78W99 limit control is a field-installed replacement for the unit in the Lennox® 235F rooftop air conditioner. This limit control is available in electrical or gas models, and is designed to maintain the set temperature in the air handler by automatically turning the outdoor heat pump off when the conditioned space approaches a preset temperature.

Eliminate constant guesswork and ensure comfort by setting the limit control on your Lennox® variable speed furnace. The 235F Limit Control is factory-set to operate the blower section of your furnace at a minimum of 235F and provides precise temperature control for up to eight zones.

Lennox 235F Limit Controls are designed to shut off the gas flow to your furnace if its internal temperature approaches a preset value. The limit control's set point is user adjustable. Limit controls may be installed at the gas meter or at the furnace.

The 78W99 limit control is installed in all Lennox® liquid propane fired water heaters. It safely and accurately regulates the upper operating temperature of your water heater. The 78W99 limits the maximum gas valve opening temperature from 235F to a maximum AC voltage rating. This controls both pilot and main burners
