Incompatible with 440V furnaces. Use the Lennox 81J69 Hard Start Kit to restore an electric furnace's power cycling function. The Hard Start Kit is compatible with all Lennox 90% AFUE furnaces and is easy to install.

Easily enjoy the comfort and energy efficiency of Lennox® residential HVAC systems. The 81J69 Hard Start Kit is easy to install with common hand tools, providing a reliable hard start function for variable-speed single phase air conditioning condensing units using 2-stage compressors. Adding the kit creates a 1.5-second delay to the compressor start sequence, helping prevent burnout and extending equipment life. The kit is UL listed and meets any applicable local codes.

A hard start kit is used to provide power to the furnace when there is an improper voltage drop to the unit. A voltage drop can be caused by a faulty t-stat or wiring or a low voltage. A hard start kit works on furnaces that use a resistance furnace ignitor to ignite the gas and do not use a glow plug.

The Lennox TurboStart™ Efficient Dual-Fuel Hard-Start Kit contains everything you need to install a high efficiency outdoor fireplace. Included in the kit is an outdoor fireplace hard start, outdoor fireplace vent shutter and quick connect hose. This Lennox hard start kit fits a Btu input of up to 85000 Btu's.
