Lennox 93J98 Belt is a replacement belt for the following models

The Lennox 93J98 Belt Belt is designed for use with the: Lennox Elite Series & Standard Series Air Conditioners, XCEL Air Conditioners, Ignition Coil & Plug-In Lance Models. Belt measures 5/8 in. x 158 in.

The Lennox company was founded in San Diego, CA in 1991. However, our products were first introduced over 20 years earlier. This product has been CAD designed with direct input from customers and engineers, resulting in a better product at a reasonable price and low life cycle cost. We have everything necessary to make this belt including all tooling specific to this belt in different materials, different length belt segments and special extrusion equipment.

This belt will need to be replaced before the unit is due for a new spark plug. This belt is sized by the HP rating of the unit (HP rating shown on top of motor or nameplate). Located under top cover.

The Lennox 93J98 Belt drives the air conditioner compressor. As belts age, the belt webbing can break down causing the belt to slip. The slipping belt can cause damage to the compressor and ultimately cause the air conditioner to stop working.
