OD/ID COIL SENSOR

This 2-wire OD/ID COIL SENSOR can be used on many Lennox Furnaces. Because it's an ID Sensor coil, it can cost up to 30% less to operate than a standard two-wire coil. It is designed to use with the Limited Lifetime Warranty YDF7-1 Ignition Assembly.

The Y7280 includes an OD/ID Coil Sensor designed for use with OD and ID coils. With this option, it is possible to start up your furnace automatically when the room temperature reaches a certain level. This sensor can be a useful feature for saving on operating cost and increasing safety.

The Y7280 O D/I D COIL SENSOR allows the end user to determine which type of wire is being used when installing Lennox heating and cooling systems. The coil sensor is designed to connect to any BPI-R board and is easy to use.

COIL SENSOR

The Lennox® Y7280 is a 1 in. O.D. or I.D., nonadjustable/nonreversible sensing coil that is used with the Lennox® electronic air cleaner models, and select other brand electronic air cleaners that are compatible with this coil type. It fits an intake opening from 1.5 in., to 2 in., and a length of 6 in. to 24 in. This sensor coils operates on a range of 70% to 100% flue gas at 65 Pascals or greater..

The Lennox Y7280 indirect air flow sensor is constructed with a built in temperature sensor to help maintain precise temperatures for your home. This Lennox replacement coil sensor also includes a Dual Access Technology, that provides both time and water saving features.

The Y7280 detection system is equipped with both the galvanized dioxide catalyst and the Catalyst Ionization Module, providing effective protection and energy efficiency for your home. This Lennox system is a combination of Active Carbon (OD) and Advanced Thermal Dynamics (ID), one of Lennox's most efficient gas-phase catalytic technologies. The Y7280 also features AutoTemp which constantly monitors air quality and adjusts blower speeds accordingly to make your home more comfortable; and Auto Restart which has the furnace automatically restart should it shut down due to a system fault.
