It monitors your 3-phase equipment for voltage variation from nominal, and provides immediate protection for the connected load if it detects a fault on any of the phases. It is compatible with most major 3-phase equipment manufacturers.

The Littelfuse 102A SymCom® MotorSaver® 3-Phase Voltage Monitor saves utility costs by preventing motor burnout caused by unbalanced 3-phase power loads. It is used to monitor incoming voltage from high-power devices in commercial and industrial applications, such as air compressors, pumps, heaters and engines. The MotorSaver 3-Phase Voltage Monitor continuously monitors the phase relationship of three-phase voltage inputs and applies a corrective signal to connected devices if a phase imbalance occurs.

The MotorSaver 3-Phase Voltage Monitor protects equipment and safeguard human life by  detecting electrical overstress conditions of a three phase load before they become fatal – stopping the motor before it can overheat.

The Littelfuse 102 A SymCom MotorSaver 3-Phase Voltage Monitor provides protection for motors from starting and damage due to low voltage conditions and high voltage overloads. This phase monitor shuts off the power to protect expensive, hard to replace motors. The MotorSaver can be set with optional settings such as a variable rest rate delay and adjustable PTC temperature cut-off.

The motor saver system monitors three-phase voltage on a circuit and, if it falls below the programmed trip level, trips off the circuit breaker.  Instead of a manual reset on an under-voltage or over-voltage condition, the system automatically resets only after voltage returns to normal.

Littelfuse monitors and senses the voltage of an entire 3-phase system, and there is no need to meter the individual phases. As a result, the wiring of many three-phase motors can be simplified with fewer wires to the power source.

Voltage surges, sags and brownouts can damage expensive motors. MotorSaver provides galvanic isolation from the line voltage, preventing costly damage to connected motors. MotorSaver monitors your motor's input power and restarts immediately when power resumes, allowing for a 75% reduction in total motor run time vs. standard on/off control. Available in 3-phase and single-phase models.
