24V MODULATING, SPRING RETURN ACTUA

Modulating, spring return actuator operates on 24 VAC or DC (with transformer) and provides infinitely variable position control of gas valves. Manual, end-of-stroke, or limit switches can be applied with normally closed contacts or open collector (transistor) circuits.

The Honeywell 2318 MODUTROL Series 1/2 NPT Stainless Steel Spring Return Actuating Valve is an AC or DC actuation (Modulating) stainless steel spring return valve designed for use in zone heating, ventilating, and air conditioning control systems.

MODUTROL® is a family of high-performance proportional valves that are used to control the flow of gases and liquids in applications ranging from pilot plants, to gas meters, to a broad range of process controls. The SPRING RETURN ACTUATOR option eliminates all external springs and external sensing lines and allows the device to be back-loaded (as shown in the illustration with the actuator drawn inside the device body). This is a field replaceable unit.

The Honeywell B316482 MODUTROL® 1/2-in valve is a 24V modulating valve designed to provide full modulation of the gas pilot. The stainless steel construction will withstand harsh environments and the electronic operation makes this controller very easy to install and service. This valve is rated for 18,000 BTUH at < 60 psi WOG (6.9 bar)

The Honeywell B316482 MODUTROL® spring return, 1/2 inch NPT, single position gas valve controls the gas supply to a natural gas furnace and is UL/CSA listed.
