24V ACTUATOR 2-POS SPRING RETURN RE

The MA-318 24 VAC 2-Position Switching Valve/Damper Driver Motor is designed for use with positioner valves and dampers. It features spring-return, two-position switching, low torque output (0.16 Nm), and it offers a displacement setting of 30 mL to 250 mL. This dual voltage 24 V AC/DC motor has an operating voltage range of 42 V DC to 1800 V AC.

The MA-318 is a long stroke actuator designed for use in conjunction with the 2/3-way air valves, such as Model AIRUZ. The soft start spring return feature assures that the actuator will not be damaged due to binding of the valve stem under load or if the air valve being actuated is partially closed. The two position design provides a lower price alternative to constant tension spring return units while still providing the capability of negative building applications.

This spring return, normally closed damper produces a distinct snap as the actuator is snapped to the off position. Ideal for actuating flow controls of automatic shut-off valves in the water system.

The MA-318 motor is designed for magnetic low pressure applications. The 2-position version has the same operating characteristics whether in the off state or the spring return state. The control system includes a potentiometer assembly, cable, and terminal ends.

The MA-318 round Actuator Motor has a switch point travel of 12 mm with an operational voltage rating of 24Vdc. It is made of steel and aluminum and has a harden epoxy powder coating. The MA-318 round Actuator Motor can be used where an operator with a short throw is needed. It is designed for industrial applications. It can be used to link various types of actuators to PLC's or DCS's, or as pneumatic or hydraulic
