The 30012 MA-405 is a 120V, 24VAC or 115VAC transformer-less damper actuator with 2 positions. The MA-405 size is 4 inches high by 2 inches deep and 1 inch thick. Each mounting hole is 1/8 inches in diameter and the unit is 6 inches from the top edge of the coil to the bottom of the lever. A two position thermal over-range limit switch is provided as standard equipment in the MA-405. The on/off of the contacts is rated at 10 amps at 120 volts, 5 amps at 24 volts, no direct connection to 115V

The MA-405 two-position damper actuator has internal contacts which close on the rise of the coil and open on the fall of the coil. For normally closed applications, use a normally open contact to control the actuator from an electrical device. This is typically used with an exhaust fan, in which case a normally open fan limit switch will activate the damper when turned on.
