Nordic and Victorian ranges manufactured prior to 1999 require the magnetron to be replaced every 7 year (10 years for a microwave/convection oven). This magnetron for Amana is sold individually, and easy to replace.

This is a new Aftermarket Magnetron for the following Amana models: AGD2550DWAW, AGD2550DSZB, AGD2550ERZB-3, AGD2550EWW, AMB9001EWW, AMB9008BW, AMTR111DWAW, AMTR11RWFW and it may fit additional models. This is not a genuine Amana OEM part.

The Magnetron is designed to generate microwaves as part of the on-board microwave oven systems found in commercial aircraft.

The magnetron is the "work horse" of the microwave oven. Its output determines the amount of energy that can be used by the entire oven, and its longevity will determine how long you can depend on your microwave oven.
