The 10K Ohm Type 3 Temp Sensor, -40°C to 800°C (-40°F to 1472°F) is designed for HART and Modbus RTU serial communication applications. It has a 28 mA current loop, a welded nickel-plated case, a standard brass connector housing that accepts up to 9 wires, and a 4-pin modular jack connector.

The 10K Ohm Type 3 Temp Sensor is an extremely accurate, two-wire solid state sensor with a user programmable output. The sensor has a maximum error of +/-1% F.S. and uses the current type of M.O.M. encoder circuitry, which consumes low power. The Type 3 is precision manufactured with rugged glass-reinforced epoxy case material and sealed with machined sealing surfaces to provide long life in water or harsh chemical environments. A conductive polymer coating is used on the wire leads to reduce corrosion from salt water environment and to provide electrical isolation for both leads
