MARS 61434 , 480V 30A 3 Pole DP Contactor . Designed to operate a 480VAC motor or lighting circuit as a starter, the definite purpose contactor features interlocked boron alloy terminals and built-in overload protection.

Designed to provide protection for abnormal and fault conditions of the motor, generator, transformer or other device to which it is connected. The Mars 2, 3 pole, 480V 30A Contactor has a definite purpose contactor coil that is internally protected from arc and ground faults. With an adjustable trip setting, this coil can be used for continuous or intermittent operation.

The unique circuitry of the Definite Purpose (DP) Contactor is suitable for use on many single phase induction motors and small electric machines. Often used in pump applications, it can also be used in some non-induction loads. It is compact and easy to install, requiring a mounting base plate (not included). The DP Contactor is designed for impulse control service.

The MARS 61434 series is a 3-pole, 30A, 480VAC definite purpose contactor. The contactor is UL and CSA certified for use in industrial and commercial applications.
