The MCGA Series propeller locks are designed to provide 1,600 pounds of holding torque and are recommended for vessels 84' and smaller. The U.S. Coast Guard prohibits the use of a conventional anchor when a prop saver with holding capacity is available. The MCGA Series is available for both starboard and port installations in either 316 Stainless Steel or Aluminum, and includes both an MRC OMC and an S-320 chain shackle assembly.
