## WHAT IS A PRESSURE SWITCH?
The 5H735819 PRESSURE SWITCH is designed to control a 2 speed cooling fan that will enable summer air conditioning cooling systems to operate at high speed with an external heat source such as the sun. The unit has been tested for performance and safety.
Modine 5H73591-9 Pressure Switch
Pressure switch, automatic, 115 VAC, through loads; wire lead and rear connection; 2-in NPT inlet; 3/8-in MPT hose barb outlet
Installation and repair of modulating furnaces has been made easier with this new Pressure Switch. The pressure switch is engineered to monitor the drop in pressure across the sensing bulb. When low pressure is sensed, the safety circuit opens. In case of a loss of voltage, this sensor will sense the drop and open within 1 second after sensing a loss of voltage. The switch can be easily mounted on or near the Modulating Burner Assembly with its attached terminal cover plate. This new device should be used in
PLEASE NOTE: This unit is Not a self contained pressure switch; requires the use of an existing control panel to operate and connect to.
This Pressure Switch is used with pressurized hydronic systems, such as boilers, furnaces and floor radiant heating systems. This pressure switch sits in the supply line for the system. Whenever a problem with the flow of heat occurs, this pressure switch will trip, thereby interrupting the flow of hot water or gas from the boiler or furnace to ensure that sufficient heat is maintained to keep occupants safe. A pressure switch can be used in conjunction with a safety thermostat.
