Garden Way Rocker Arms are manufactured and sold with the intent to be a replacement part for any equipment made by Garden Way. For proper fit and performance always look at the manufacturers name found on the equipment part. Enjoy your garden way equipment today with a replacement rocker arm from Garden Way Parts!
This is a new reproduction Garden-Way part. The control rod may break at the plastic/rubber bushing inside the rocker arm shaft. We now offer these in bulk and ready to install. We also have control rods, which are also often broken.
The Garden Way 951-11966 Rocker Arm is a genuine OEM part. The rocker arm on the mower is a pivoting piece that attaches to the cutting blade so it can be raised and lowered as the lawnmower wheels turn. This item is sold individually.
The Rocker Arm attaches to the rear axle and pivots the drawbar side to side, as well as raising and lowering the tines. The rocker arm acts in conjunction with the other parts of the hitch and tractor to move the plow up and down, side to side and rotate. If your plow is at an angle, it is either ball or hitch tilted which requires you to tilt your tractor and then re-set your blade when plowing. You can do this manually by disconnecting the hitch from the PTO shaft, moving it back parallel with the tractor and tightening it back onto the shaft.
