This deadbolt features a precision constructed case and head to provide maximum resistance to physical attack. The case is built with a solid steel construction to protect against hacksaw attacks, as well as blow torch attacks on the lock's hardened pin tumbler mechanism. It has a weather resistant oversized handle that provides an extended reach for easier locking and unlocking of doors.

The SCHLAGE ND53RDSPA626 push button lock features a D-shaped button that allows for quick and intuitive operation for exterior key control. The automatic deadbolt locking function provides maximum security and panic hardware provides easy exit in emergencies. This model also features standard door prep for passage/ privacy function, and is Equipped with a backset of 2-3/8".

The Schlage ND53RD Spacious Cottage deadbolt features a back plate cover plate that can be removed to access a removable core without having to remove any assembly components, making it easy for emergency personnel to quickly open your door in an emergency.
