One of the factory keys is labeled with "Key to Outside" and the other is labeled with "Key to Inside". The Key to Outside key will fit in any Schlage 6 series single cylinder deadbolt and will decrease security by allowing anyone who has it to open the outside of your door lock. The Key to Inside key will only work in this specific Schlage door lock, preventing anyone who does not have the key from opening

This Schlage Brand Click cam lock is designed for use with Schlage ND Series doors, and features a C123 keyway, a 6 pin tumbler mechanism, and a 1-3/8" c-case cylinder. It comes complete with the lock, two keys, and the installation hardware needed to attach it to the door.
