This valve is typical for process machinery such as industrial pressure cookers, where quick opening and closing of ball valves are required. It is also used in commercial applications such as air conditioning condenser water and chilled water systems.

The Nibco LD-2000 series is a three port Ductile iron butterfly Valve for use on gas fired central heating and hot water heating systems. It has a lever handle and will fit into 75mm diameter pipe with 96mm centre to centre mounting hole centres. The frame is constructed from ductile iron and the bonnet of the valve is aluminum bronze. The valve has an EPDM liner which makes it ideal for outdoor applications.
