Piston/Orifice Metering Device

Our Piston/Orifice Metering Device (MOD) is a perfect replacement for your old one if it has perished or is severely worn out. It's built to the exact same OEM specifications, ensuring good performance and proper operation.

The Piston/Orifice Metering Device is designed for use on water-cooled Nordyne chillers.

The Piston/Orifice Metering Device of the system is a high-pressure valve that meters the refrigerant to all components of the system, weighing and charging the proper amount of refrigerant into each component based on the liquid line recover (LLR) temperature. The pistons are designed to charge at a higher flow rate when there is additional refrigerant in the system and to charge at lower rates when there is less refrigerant in the system during servicing.

Used in gas furnaces, this Piston/Orifice Metering Device has a brazed copper orifice that provides the most effective combination of flow and temperature control. It is designed with a stainless steel piston to withstand long-term exposure to harsh environments.

The 664075R Piston/Orifice Metering Device offers multi-stage metering of the incoming air for greater comfort and efficiency. The device also offers more temperature stability, allowing the indoor air temperature to remain...

The piston/orifice metering device is an ideal choice for domestic water supply and plumbing applications. This model features a plastic piston assembly with orifice meter. It is designed without a housing for open pipe mounting applications.

The 664075R is a piston/orifice metering device that allows two different maximum pressures—up to 125% of the gas supply pressure—to be maintained at the inlet to each house valve. Each valve is separately controlled by its own pilot-operated valve, and the pilot-operated valves are lit from the furnace's circulator burner. There are two orifices, which have ports that regulate gas flow into the main piping before each house valve. The orifice metering device has three configurations: one with a npt port and orifice of 2.5 mm (0.098 in
