The BASO L62GB-3 Pilot Safety Switches are used to protect the electrical circuits on hydraulic machines or installations. They can also be used on gasoline engines.

The BASO L62GB-3 MR Pilot Safety Isolating Switches meet the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories. They are intended for use in equipment and machinery to isolate circuits during maintenance or repair to reduce risk of accidental shock. The large, low-profile BASO L62GB-3 provides a tactile (can be felt) means of identifying the switch is off in an emergency situation.

This pilot safety switch features a latching solenoid that opens the main valve of the system independent of, and in addition to, the magnetic lock. This is becoming an increasing popular option with industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, wastewater treatment and others where contaminates can potentially reach the magnetic lock on the pilot valve.
