ZINC ANODE INLINE 1-1/2/RETR
Pool Tool 104C Zinc Anode for Chlorine-Generator Salt Water Pool 1-1/2/RETR Package of 6 Anode is a Waterway Zinc replacement warranty plug. The anode provides protection against galvanic corrosion. To maintain extended life of the pool’s metal components, anode rods should be installed to make contact with as much metal as possible including the piping, pump, filter and heater. WaterWay Systems is the original inventor and leading manufacturer of zinc anodes for swimming pool systems. Made in USA
For the Pool Builder: This zinc anode is used for the chlorine generation system of a salt water pool. This anode has an embedded, continuous-weld length of 1-1/2 inches. The zinc alloy sheet is stamped with an R, indicating that it has been rolled after welding and before stamping and metallurgical analysis. It is represented in red on the schematic above which indicates compatibility with chlorinated water systems.
Zinc anodes are the most widely used protection method against Corrosion in Salt Water Pools. These Zinc Anodes provide superior protection than copper or aluminum anode products and last 6 to 9 months in a saltwater pool. Please note that it is important to change your zinc anode every six months to ensure proper protection, as pools with unmatched zinc anodes will see faster rusting of the unprotected steel pool components.
The Pool Tool zinc anode is specifically designed to withstand the harsh treatment of salt water and chlorine, and it meets ASTM B743-96, Standard Specification for Zinc Anodes for Use in Swimming Pool Chlorination Systems. The Pool Tool anode is made of high-quality materials, including a zinc surface that makes it highly resistant to corrosion caused by pool chemicals. It provides protection for your salt water pool.
Note: Do not use with silver-mercury, titanium or copper-silver anodes. Use only with EnerGreen zinc anodes in chlorinated pool and spa systems. The stainless steel disc grid is strong and durable for long life. The zinc anode is exposed to the electrolyte, where it performs its sacrificial function of protecting the rest of the parts in the cells from corrosion and dissipates mercury into solution. Attach only one anode per rod holder. Powder-coated mild steel construction. Replacement zinc anodes sold individually.
New zinc anode designed for chlorine-generator salt water pools. Anodes are designed to prevent damage to pool equipment and components from corrosion. For best results, use the D-103R high flow zinc anode for applications where low voltage control unit power is greater than 1 HP or where the connecting line size is 3/4" or larger. The specified number of anodes must be installed in parallel on each leg of the pool's electrical ground wire (ground wire not included with anode).
Corrosion Control zinc anode in a copper housing for use with chlorine-generator salt water pools. Copper housing allows you to connect additional clean-up anodes without adding metal so that performance of the entire system is not diminished. Simply connect inline with other anodes.
